About Alex and Ani
Alex and Ani was founded in 2004 by Carolyn Rafaelian, and was named after her two daughters. The company has grown to now produce bangles, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and rings. Alex and Ani first gained fame when they produced a necklace featuring an apple for Gwyneth Paltrow following the birth of her daughter Apple. In 2011, the company launched its Charity By Design program where 20% of sales go to charity, which opened the door to partnerships with many National organizations. A signature design feature of the company's products is the "patented sliding mechanism that replaces the traditional clasp, making each bracelet entirely adjustable" making it "one-size-fits-all". Alex and Ani accepts all returns within 30 days of purchase, as long as the item is unworn and has all attached tags. In-store purchases must be returned to a flagship Alex and Ani location, while online orders must be shipped back. You cannot return any online orders to a store location, except for merchandise credit. All items purchased during their Clearance sales, FINAL sale items that are permanently discounted and all discounted items purchased at any Alex and Ani Outlet location are final sale and not eligible for return.
