About Blue Apron
Blue Apron was founded in 2012 by Matt Wadiak, Matt Salzberg, and Ilia Papas. They sent the very first batch of orders from a commercial kitchen in Long Island, providing customers with boxed ingredients and the accompanying recipes to cook meals in their own homes. By September 2016, Blue Apron had shipped a whopping 8 million meal servings to customers all around the nation. In June 2017, Blue Apron had its IPO and became the very first pre-packaged meal kit company to go public in the US! Blue Apron also owns the Blue Apron Market, a kitchen supply store.

Blue Apron Market: If you are not completely satisfied with your Market order, Blue Apron is happy to provide a full refund on all items returned (excluding food and gift cards.) Returns must be processed within 30 days of receipt, and returned in the original packaging and condition. Reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for a pre-paid label and shipping instructions. Refunds will be processed within 10 days of receipt of the item at the warehouse.
Blue Apron Wine Program: At this time, Blue Apron does not accept wine returns, as the program is designed to expose customers to wines and flavors they may not have tried otherwise.
Blue Apron does not offer a loyalty program. Once you have created an account, meals are priced based on recipes per week, number of servings, and meal plan selected.
Blue Apron’s prices are consistent throughout the year, and depend on the number of recipes per week, servings, and the particular meal plan chosen (Signature, Signature for 4, or Vegetarian).
At this time, Blue Apron is not offering any qualified customer discounts, although they have offered military discounts and special offers in the past.
