Founded in 2014 by Davis Smith, Cotopaxi is a Salt Lake City, Utah based adventure gear and apparel company. Cotopaxi derives its name from the famed Ecuadorian stratovolcano. At over 19,000 ft, Cotopaxi is one of the largest volcanoes in the world and attracts thousands of outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers each year. It is this spirit of adventure and optimism that first inspired Cotopaxi founders to develop a line of rugged, durable, and sustainable adventure gear (backpacks, outdoor bags, dopp kits) and apparel (organic wool outerwear and technical shirts). A certified B corp, Cotopaxi seeks to alleviate global poverty by allocating 1% of their annual revenue in the form of grants via the Cotopaxi Foundation. Return Policy
The Cotopaxi Promise. High quality gear made from sustainable materials and hand-crafted for durability by experts ensure that Cotopaxi stands by their 61 year product guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase Cotopaxi will accept returns within 30 days of your purchase. To be eligible for a full refund items must be unworn and undamaged with the tags still intact. Returns processed for store credit or exchanged are free. A $5 fee will be charged for returns processed to credit cards or PayPal accounts.
Loyalty Program
Cotopaxi does not offer a loyalty program at this time. Customers can create a basic member account to track orders, process returns and manage payments.
