About DKNY
Founded by Donna Karan in 1984, DKNY is a New York City fashion house that specializes in women’s clothing, designed by women, for women. Donna Karan’sfirst collection, 7 easy pieces, was a way to create infinite looks from some easy to wear items, but the range soon expanded when Donna herself had to contendwith a teenage daughter, raiding her wardrobe and stealing her clothes. This brought Donna into a new space and with it, the creation of New Yorker, a new range of clothing that would ensure women everywhere always had an outfit for every occasion, wherever the day might take them. Over 30 years later and DKNY is still one of the most iconic fashion houses in America, now re-imagined for the new generation and a new taste of NY fashion, also including menswear and accessories.
