Founded in 1927, Marriott is a hotel chain offering its customers over 7,000 locations to stay across 131 countries and territories. Marriott offers price matching on identical reservations. If a customer is able to find an identical reservation within 24 hours of making a purchase through Marriott, they will match the rate and award customers an additional 25% discount or 5,000 points in their loyalty rewards program.

Marriott offers customers the opportunity to enroll in their Marriott BonVoy loyalty rewards program. Members of this program earn points for each reservation and purchase made through Marriott which can be exchanged for free stays, travel packages, tickets to events, and more. Additionally, members can qualify for higher reward levels the more nights per year they stay at Marriott Hotels. Additional benefits of this program include free wi-fi, member rates on stays, welcome gifts, ability to checkout late, and more.
Marriott's biggest sales of the year is their Cyber Week sale, which has run for up to five days from Black Friday on in the past and has allowed customers to access discounts on premium hotel stays and vacations.
Marriott offers a 15% discount to members of the United States military, veterans, reservists, national guard members and retirees. Marriott also offers a 15% discount to first responders such as police, firefighters, paramedics, and other emergency medical personnel.
Marriott does not specify a trade-in policy for customers.
Marriott offers customers the opportunity to apply for one of their four credit card offerings. Currently Marriott offers the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Credit Card and the Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card from Chase, and the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant and Marriott Bonvoy Business Cards from American Express. Each of these cards offers the ability to earn additional points in the Marriott Bonvoy rewards program with each use as well as automatic enrollment in, at least, the rewards program's “Silver Elite Status” level.
