Return Policy
If you’re unsatisfied with an item you’ve purchased, it can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund or exchange, as long as you still have the register receipt. Cash refunds for check purchases require a 10-day period. If you still have your receipt but wish to return an item after 30 days or more, only merchandise credit will be offered. Any merchandise that is considered to be in an unsellable condition, or otherwise apparently used or worn, will not be accepted for return. Swimwear and intimate apparel must have tickets properly attached to the merchandise. For returns without a receipt available, a government issued photo ID must be presented, and name, address, and signature will be required at the point of return, and may be required for the use of the resulting merchandise credit card. Photo ID must match the name printed on the merchandise credit.
Loyalty Program
T.J. Maxx does not offer a loyalty program. Customers can create a basic member account to track orders, process returns, and manage payments.
Seasonal Sales
T.J. Maxx does not generally participate in season sales, promotions, or coupons, but they do have two annual clearance events - these are held in January and August, after the big shopping holidays of Christmas and Fourth of July, respectively.
