About Walmart
Walmart is the world’s largest retailer and the world’s largest private employer. It was founded in 1945 by businessman Sam Walton to sell products at low prices. Walmart evolved dramatically over the years and now operates 11,438 stores in 27 countries worldwide. Customers can find nearly any product or merchandise at Walmart stores, including electronics, furniture, home improvement, clothing, footwear, jewelry, toys, health and beauty, pet supplies, sporting goods, auto goods and services, pharmacy needs, groceries, and photo services. Raise offers unbeatable Walmart coupons and promo codes found online, including free shipping.
Price Matching
The Walmart online price matching policy honors price matching on identical, in-stock products sold for a lower price at another retailer. Acceptable online competitors include Amazon, Babies R Us, JCPenney, Target, Walgreens, and more.
Walmart stores will match Walmart.com and Jet.com base prices for identical items purchased in-store. The customer must inform the associate of the price. Walmart.com does not offer a price match on items purchased from Walmart.com that later decrease in price.
Return Policy
The standard Walmart return policy allows customers to return unused, unopened products either in-store or by mail. All items must be returned in the original manufacturer’s packaging. Most products must be returned within 90 days of purchase, with the exception of electronics, which must be returned within 30 days.
All returns require a receipt for a full refund to original source of payment. Returns that are requested without a receipt are only accepted for exchange or store credit, and may not be refunded for the full purchase value.
Loyalty Program
Walmart does not offer a customer loyalty program.
Seasonal Sales
Walmart is known for large Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Christmas Sales. Popular and trendy items, especially electronics, are discounted with Walmart promo codes and coupons for a limited time only.
Qualified Discounts

Trade-In Policy
Walmart allows customers to trade-in their old electronic devices to receive an instant Walmart eGift Card. Accepted devices include cell phones, tablets, game consoles, and voice speakers. Walmart evaluates the trade-in value of the device, provides a prepaid shipping label, and sends the gift card once the trade-in is received and evaluated.
