HP.com honors price match requests at the time of purchase, under the following criteria:
- Items matched must be direct-fulfilled, pre-tax price
- Items must be matched for new “Comparable PCs” and identical HP printer, display, and accessory model numbers
- Products for price match must come from a nationally recognized online retailer such as Dell.com, Lenovo.com, Amazon.com, BestBuy.com, TigerDirect.com, Staples.com, and Newegg.com
HP customer service reviews and verifies each price match request.
HP also offers price protection after purchase. If HP lowers the price of a product purchased and it is still in stock and hasn’t been discontinued, customers can email customer support within the return and exchange period to request a credit for the difference between the price paid and the current selling price. One price match per exact item, per customer, is allowed.
Purchases made online through HP are eligible for return or exchange within 30 days from delivery. All returns must be sent with a Return Merchandise Authorization form.
